Digital

Digital teams from Publicis Digital, Publicis Media and Zenith Optimedia each walked away with a prestigious silver star at the Australian Internet Advertising Bureau awards last night.

The digital team from Publicis had a total of nine finalists from 40, for clients: Nike, Tourism Victoria, Honda, HP and Fox. With only eight awards made in total to win three was a fantastic achievement – and needless to say the celebration was large.

A huge thanks to everyone involved in these campaigns, it has been a very, very big 12 months seeing our digital team grow from 20-odd to 55 and with many opportunities on the horizon. Lovin’ yer’ work guys.

Thanks to our amazing clients for co-creating this work and sharing in our passion for great work that works. Here’s to another strong year in 2008.

The category: Best integration with an offline campaign.

It really is a massive achievement for the team particularly a) as this is the first year that we have entered and, b) as this category is one of the hardest fought over and most prestigious.

Mixx is the US’ most prestigious digital marketing awards. The event is produced by the Internet Advertising Bureau & supported by trade publications Adweek, Mediaweek and Brandweek.

Nike’s award was a Bronze in the category of Viral/World Of Mouth/Peer-to-peer marketing. First prize in the category went to Oasys Mobile with Silver to Sony Playstation.

This awards programme is globally recognised as one of the best in the world and received over 2,000 entries in total, so to make the top four in two categories was a great result and to win on the international stage with our first digital awards submission for Nike was amazing.
