Virgin Mobile Members' Lounge
Our latest launch for client Virgin Mobile.
Virgin Mobile’s Members’ Lounge is the pointy bit of a new approach to Telco marketing based around rewarding members for their custom, rather than hooking them in on fancy plans and deals and then forgetting about them.
In the new world of Virgin Mobile, members get benefits like:
-
Access to exclusive gigs and events
Access to free members only offers
Member discounts on heaps of cool products
Exclusive content
Entry to loads of prize draws
VIP treatment when out and about
The strategy will be unfolding over the coming months and the members’ lounge will feature as the central destination for prospects and customers alike. This is a web site with an indefinite lifespan, designed to serve over a million customers who will visit on average twice a month. The campaign created to support the launch of this new strategy covers ATL (including TV & Print), social media, PR, digital advertising, extensions of the design and experience through the Virgin Mobile website, and in new retail environments. It has had us working closely with Host, One Green Bean, MPG, Digital Alchemy, Bamboo Marketing (and many more).
The site will also be complemented with a similar mobile experience, allowing people to access the exclusive content when they are out and about.
Mobile and Web integration is a big part of the solution and the technical heavy lifting behind the scenes is significant as this web site is fully integrated into Virgin Mobile’s customer accounts and relationship management systems and has many separate feeds of functionality and data running in and out of it.
Also the site employs JQuery and HTML not a hint of flash in sight despite the many flash-like behaviours.
Check it out. – and click guest access – this will give a peek at the full experience.
